Airport Codes:SBA

"All I know
And all I need to know is there is no,
Yeah, there is no end to love
Barbara, Barbara
There is no end to love"

U2 - California (There Is No End To Love)

Santa Barbara that is!!!

And there really is no end to love when it comes to SBA!

Day 1
First stop, always!
The Shoreline Beach Cafe. I've posted about it probably more times than I even remember on my Instagram because you can't beat the location or the prices. I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here (not on the same day, I don't think though I probably could) and nothing disappoints. But their breakfast...  Orange juice blueberry pancakes! Nuff said. Mic drop!

Shoreline Beach Cafe

I think this may just be a secret "locals spot" because it's never packed, parking is reasonable and easy to find. So, after breakfast, you're going to leave your car here and do some walking along the beach...
The first pier you see is called the Harbor, check out the Maritime Museum or just wander around. When you're ready to leave take the water taxi called the "The Lil toot" (How adorbs??!!!!) over to the next pier called Stearns Wharf. It's a 15-minute ride and only costs $5 for adults and $1 for kids and seriously it's just too cute not to do! Once you get off, you've got Mother Stearns, an old fashion candy shop and the Ty Sea Center a hands-on museum for the kids. When my trolls were little they loved it!
Baby Alina and Micaela at the Ty Sea Center
There are plenty of places to eat and drink at either pier but just make sure you save room for dinner.
Once you're done hanging out at the wharf, you could rent one of these cool things and ride around...
They were so little!
Or take the water taxi back, uber or work up an appetite and walk back.
Santo Mezcal
Everything on the menu looks amazing!
But the Queso Fundito literally has my mouth watering right now and you have to try their Riviera Hermosa cocktail which won the Peoples Choice Award at the Official Drink of Santa Barbara Cocktail Competition!
Fundito & Riviera Hermosa

Day 2
Start your day at The Boathouse at Hendry's beach.  Not as wallet-friendly as Shoreline, but great food and another great view. But then again there are no bad views here...

After breakfast or brunch, you've got options...
If you have trolls take them to the Santa Barbara zoo! It's right across the street from East beach, has a train that takes you around the whole zoo which isn't very big but so so perfect for younger kids. They even let you feed the giraffes!

And then head over to the beach!

Adult weekend? Make sure you eat every last morsel of whatever you ordered at the Boathouse because you're going wine tasting today downtown. Yep, you read that right.
The Funk Zone has cafes, restaurants and boutique tasting rooms. You can walk the self-guided Urban Wine Trail where tastings cost about between $12-$15 a piece and there are plenty to choose from like over 20! Sorry, I don't have pics I was busy wine tasting!

Dinner: You could stay at the Funk Zone and choose from all the amazing places or you could head over to the Santa Barbara Public Market. It's a bunch of amazing places all under one roof.
You've got tacos at Cocina Corazon,
Noodles at the Empty Bowl Noodle Bar,
Pizza from Ca'Dario pizzeria Veloce, Ice cream from Rori's Artisanal Creamery even a beer garden called The Garden!
Make sure you do some Olive oil tasting while you're waiting for your food at il Fustino, Oils and Vinegar. I bought some blood orange olive oil & fig balsamic which together makes one mean salad dressing!!!
The Noodles are my favorite. And the Nutella ice cream always hits the sweet spot!

Day 3
Backyard Bowls for breakfast, they have acai bowls, hot porridge, and smoothies. I always get the Ancient Grains which has quinoa, cashew milk cinnamon, almonds, blueberries strawberries, goji berry, chia seeds and honey! Wow, I feel healthy just writing all that out. I suck at this whole take pics and blog stuff so I don't have any pics just trust me! K. Now back to your hotel for some mandatory pool time before check out. Go!

While you sit poolside you're going to have to make a major life decision because you're 43 minutes from Solvang and 49 minutes from Ojai. Go to both if you can but if you only have one more day maybe draw a name from a hat? Because I can't decide!

Either way, by the time you check out and leave Sba you'll get to your next destination in time for lunch!

Solvang is a cute little Danish town with Insta worthy picture ops everywhere, cute shops in windmills, bakeries, bakeries and more bakeries. You can ride the trolley around or just park your car and walk the town. Eat some aebleskiver, (Danish pancakes) you can find it pretty much everywhere.

Alina and Rylee

We went to the shops, ate lunch, swam at our hotel in the afternoon and for dinner, the girls chose to order pizza so they could eat in their pajamas!
The next day we walked the town some more and had breakfast at Paula's Pancake house to try their Danish pancakes. There was a little bit of wait and even though the pancakes were different than the other aebleskivers they were still good! In the summer they have Sunday Jazz in The Garden Under the Oaks along with a summer concert series on Wednesdays.
Girls just wanna have fun

If you chose Ojai, bring an appetite. There are so many places that look and sound amazing! I was sad I didn't have room for more food!
Azu and Ojai brewing co.  Has bottomless mimosas and beer flights that are a must with their brunch!
Croquette Eggs Benedict

AZU Restaurant & Ojai Valley Brewery

Now, I usually wouldn't recommend hotels just because I know everyone has their own style but this cute spot is so worth a mention.
The Caravan Outpost. Where 11 air streams sit in a half circle, the centerpiece a gorgeous fire pit where they do nightly s'mores. Tables with umbrellas where I heard they sometimes host amazing dinners and the cutest store you want to move in! If that isn't your thing you should make it your thing!

We stayed in Frida
All the stores and restaurants are within walking distance, I could tell you where to go but seriously just go and explore!
And don't forget to make S'more's. If you're lucky, like us. You'll meet your neighbors and end up playing trivia with Harry Potter wands. Don't ask...

For breakfast, we went to Farmer and the Cook. Its a restaurant, it's a grocery store, it's amazing.

Egg white and Veggie Breakfast Burrito

Before you leave you HAVE to stop at  Knead Baking Co for Croissants because dessert shouldn't just be for after dinner. And make sure you take home some of their multigrain English muffins!
